Q: Where do you get the "art" for your comic strips?
A: The comics are pure cut and paste jobs, just like drafting legal documents!
Political and celebrity caricatures typically come from
Caricature Zone under their link to clip art. These caricatures are free for use on a personal website.
A number of the props, backgrounds and a few of the characters come from
Havana Street, a source for retro clip art. A small fee was paid to acquire the Havana Street library of clip art.
The bulk of the Tales From The Code characters come from the clip art used to create "Get Your War On"--a satire strip
that may be viewed by clicking HERE. Most of the characters in "Transaction Costs" come
from a commercially available disk called "The Big Box of Art." The balance of the Transaction Cost characters come from
free clip at A Perfect World.
Q: Where do you link to the background music played while you read the comics?
A: The songs are all direct links to midi compositions by amateurs available for free from Ifni Midi.
