Marked Copy

1. A term used to refer to an agreement or document which has been marked to show changes made from a prior draft. It is extremely important that the Marked Copy be accurate and complete because parties will rely on the marked changes to allow a quick review of the progress of a document from one stage in negotiations to the next.
